Long ago, the rooster and the hawk were very good friends.
They enjoy hunting for food together.

|
The hawk had a ring,
|

|
he treasure it so much that he doesn't want to take it off.
|
One day, the rooster said that he wanted to show the ring to his wife and borrowed it.
The hawk quickly gave the ring to his friend.
The rooster's wife got amazed when she saw the gold ring.
She tried it on and ask his husband if she can borrow it even for just one day, she just wanted to show it to her friends.
The rooster didn't want to dishearten his wife, so he readily gave it to her.
|
The next day,
|

|
the hen started to look for food and forgot about the ring on her toe.
|
She scratched… she scrabbled… she got busy and didn't notice that the ring slipped off her toe.
When the hen realized that the gold ring is missing.
She got frightened and started to look for it as hard as she could but she couldn't find it anywhere.
She asked for his husband's help, they both looked for it but failed to find the ring.
The hawk heard the news and got very angry.
He got furious and told them to find it as it is his most precious possession.
He also told them that he won't stop preying on their chicks until they find the gold ring.

The rooster and the hen started to scratch and shift the ground to search for it but until now, they haven't found the ring.
…and the hawk has not stopped preying on the chicks of the rooster and the hen.
The Moral Lesson of the Story
" Always take full responsibility for the care of things you borrowed and return them in the same good condition when you borrowed them"
